Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a construction that ensures long-lasting and trouble-free operation. It uses multi-strand copper conductors of class 6, which guarantees high flexibility and resistance to material fatigue during repeated bending. The core insulation is made of modified PP, and the entire cable is surrounded by a special TMPU polyurethane outer jacket. This construction provides resistance to abrasion, tearing, impact and the action of oils, acids, alkalis and solvents. Additionally, the absence of halogen in the insulation increases safety in the event of a fire.

The m.FLEX 512-PUR cable is widely used in mechanical engineering, robotics and in moving parts of machines. It is ideal for powering devices exposed to frequent bending and mechanical loads - e.g. in CNC portals, conveyors or robotic manipulators. It meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-2-21 / DIN EN 50525-2-21 and has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU. The cable is also UL compliant. Its outer diameter is approximately 9.7 mm and its rated voltage is 500V (U0/U 300/500 V). It also has a yellow-green protective conductor (from 3 cores).
