Flexible cable for use in energy chains

This grey M.FLEX 512-PUR 7G0,5 flexible cable is designed for intensive use in demanding industrial conditions. It is characterized by high flexibility and resistance to mechanical factors, making it an ideal solution for powering devices in moving parts of machines, robotics, and in applications requiring frequent bending. Made of halogen-free polyurethane (PUR), it ensures safety and minimizes the risk of toxic gas formation in the event of a fire.

Construction and properties

The cable has seven cores with a cross-section of 0.5 mm², made of stranded copper, twisted according to DIN VDE 0295 class 6 and IEC 60228 class 6 standards. The cores are insulated with modified PP and marked with numbers for easy identification. The yellow-green protective core is located outside the structure (from 3 cores). A special protective braid on each layer of twisted cores increases the cable's mechanical strength. The outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) provides resistance to abrasion, tearing, oils, and UV radiation. The cable is metered, making it easy to precisely adjust the length to the installation needs.
