Construction and properties

The OZ-500 cable is characterized by a 3x0.5 mm² construction, which means three cores with a cross-section of 0.5 mm². The cores are made of stranded copper, providing them with high flexibility and facilitating installation. Core insulation made of PVC (polyvinyl chloride) provides good protection against moisture and mechanical damage. The cores are black and numbered according to DIN VDE 0293-334, making identification easier during installation. The whole is surrounded by a gray outer PVC coating, resistant to abrasion and UV radiation. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 5.1 mm.

This cable is designed to operate at temperatures from -40°C to +80°C (after installation) and from -15°C to +80°C during installation. The rated voltage U/U0 is 500/300 V, making it suitable for most standard electrical installations. The fire reaction class is Eca, which means limited flammability and smoke emission in the event of a fire.
