This blue flexible cable OZ-BL-CY 2x0.75 is designed for use in potentially explosive atmospheres where high reliability and protection against interference are required. With an outer diameter of approximately 6.2 mm, this cable combines flexibility and durability, making it an ideal solution for both professional installers and end-users.

Construction and properties

The cable consists of two copper conductors with a cross-section of 0.75 mm², insulated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC). These conductors are twisted in layers for optimal core pitch. Additionally, the cable has a screen made of tinned copper wire braid, which provides effective protection against electromagnetic interference (EMC). The whole is surrounded by a blue (RAL 5015) PVC jacket, which facilitates identification. The use of PVC as an insulating and outer sheath material guarantees resistance to weather conditions and UV radiation.

Applications and operating parameters

The OZ-BL-CY 2x0.75 cable is intended for intrinsically safe installations according to DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51 in areas at risk of explosion (according to DIN VDE 0165-1 / DIN EN 60079-14 / IEC 60079-14). It can be used as a control and measuring cable in control and measurement technology. The permissible operating temperature range is from -40°C to +80°C with fixed installation and from -10°C to +80°C during flexible operation. The rated voltage of the cable is 300/500V. The minimum bending radius is 10x cable diameter during flexible operation and 5x diameter during fixed laying.
