This flexible OZ-BL-CY 3x0.75 cable with a cross-section of 0.75 mm² is a solution dedicated to installations in areas at risk of explosion. The cable is characterized by high flexibility and shielding, which ensures not only safety but also resistance to electromagnetic interference. ### Construction and application

This cable is designed for use in intrinsically safe installations in accordance with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51. The cable has three flexible, stranded copper conductors of class 5, insulated with PVC type Z 7225. The conductors are twisted in layers with an optimal pitch, surrounded by a plastic film and a screen in the form of a braid of tinned copper wires. The whole is covered with a blue (RAL 5015) PVC jacket. This makes the cable resistant to UV radiation and weather conditions, and largely resistant to oils.

The cable is used as a flexible control and measuring cable in areas at risk of explosion, especially in control and measurement technology. It is intended for ungrounded installations with a separate electrical circuit. *Not suitable for laying in the ground.*

Due to the use of a braided copper screen, a wide, bilateral contact of the braid with the terminals (e.g. cable glands) is recommended to optimize electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). The cable has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU and VDE-Reg.-No. 7032.
