This blue OZ-BL-CY 4x1.5 cable is a flexible solution designed for use in hazardous areas. Built for demanding working conditions, it provides effective protection and reliable operation in intrinsically safe installations. The cable features a braided screen that minimizes electromagnetic interference, which is crucial in precise control and measurement systems.

Construction and parameters for professionals

The cable is characterized by a cross-section of 1.5 mm² and a rated voltage of 300/500V. Made of stranded copper, it provides good flexibility and easy installation even in tight spaces. The PVC insulation of the cores (type Z 7225) guarantees high resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage. The braided screen made of tinned copper wires with a coverage density of approx. 85% effectively reduces the influence of external interference. The outer sheath made of PVC (type TM2) provides resistance to weather conditions and UV radiation, allowing the cable to be used both indoors and outdoors. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 8.3 mm, which facilitates its routing in existing infrastructure.

The OZ-BL-CY 4x1.5 cable is ideal for control and measurement installations in areas at risk of explosion, in accordance with DIN VDE 0165-1 / DIN EN 60079-14 / IEC 60079-14. Thanks to its flexibility, it is easy to install even in hard-to-reach places. The blue color of the sheath facilitates identification of the cable in intrinsically safe systems (type -i-). In addition, the cable is oil-resistant and does not contain silicone, cadmium or substances preventing paint adhesion – which is important for later repairs or modifications to the installation. It meets the Eca standard regarding reaction to fire, which increases safety of use. The use of a braided screen minimizes the risk of interference in the operation of devices connected to the cable, ensuring stable and precise measurements and control of industrial processes.
