This blue, shielded flexible cable OZ-BL-CY 4x1 is designed to operate in demanding environments, including areas at risk of explosion. Construction and properties

The OZ-BL-CY 4x1 cable consists of four copper conductors with a cross-section of 1 mm², insulated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC). These conductors are twisted in layers, ensuring optimal staggered arrangement and minimizing the risk of interference. In addition, the cable has a screen in the form of a braid of tinned copper wires, which effectively protects against electromagnetic interference (EMC). The whole is surrounded by a durable PVC coating in blue (RAL 5015), providing resistance to UV radiation and weather conditions. This allows the cable to be used both indoors and outdoors.

The cable meets the requirements of IEC 60332-1-2 regarding fire resistance (reaction to fire class Eca) and DIN VDE 0165-1 / DIN EN 60079-14 / IEC 60079-14, Section 16.2.2 regarding use in potentially explosive areas. The operating temperature range of the cable is from -40°C to +80°C for stationary installation and from -10°C to +80°C during flexible operation. The minimum bending radius is 5x the cable diameter for fixed laying and 10x the cable diameter for flexible operation.
