This blue flexible cable OZ-BL-CY 7x0.75 is designed for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, offering reliable and safe power transmission in demanding conditions. This cable combines flexibility, resistance to external factors and effective shielding, making it an ideal choice for both professional installers and end users.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a construction consisting of seven copper conductors with a cross-section of 0.75 mm², insulated with PVC. These conductors are twisted in layers, which ensures optimal core spacing and minimizes the risk of interference. In addition, the cable has a common screen in the form of a braid of tinned copper wires, which effectively protects against electromagnetic interference (EMC). The whole is surrounded by a durable blue PVC coating (RAL 5015), providing resistance to UV radiation and weather conditions.

It is worth noting the operating temperature range – flexibly from -10°C to +80°C and stationary from -40°C to +80°C – which allows it to be used in a wide range of environmental conditions. The cable meets the IEC 60332-1-2 standard regarding fire resistance and has a fire reaction class of Eca according to EN 13501-6.

This cable is metered and supplied without a protective conductor (OZ). Its outer diameter is approximately 8.4 mm and the coupling resistance at 30 MHz is approximately 250 Ohm/km. The minimum bending radius during permanent laying is 5x cable diameter and flexibly – 10x cable diameter.
