Additionally, the cable has a screen made of tinned copper wire braid with a coverage density of approximately 85%, which effectively protects against electromagnetic interference (EMC). The outer sheath made of PVC (type TM2) provides resistance to UV radiation and weather conditions.

A key feature is its use in intrinsically safe installations according to DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51 and potentially explosive areas according to DIN VDE 0165-1 / DIN EN 60079-14 / IEC 60079-14.
