This specialized PVC cable, TOPFLEX®-EMV-UV-2YSLCYK-J, is a solution designed for demanding applications in inverters and frequency converters. The cable construction is designed to minimize electromagnetic interference, which is crucial for the proper operation of sensitive electronic devices.
Construction and application
This cable is characterized by a solid construction with copper strands with a cross-section of 6 mm², which provide optimal conductivity and low resistance. Made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) offers good resistance to external factors, and the braided screen effectively suppresses electromagnetic interference. Designed for medium mechanical load, it is ideal for installations requiring flexibility and resistance to bending. It can be used both in dry and humid rooms, as well as outdoors.
It will find application in the machine, metallurgical, food, packaging industries, as well as in automation, control and measurement installations. It will be useful with SIMOVERT drives, pumps, ventilation, conveyor belts and air conditioning systems. Thanks to the special insulation of the cores (PE), energy losses are minimal compared to traditional PVC cables.
