Flexible cable for industrial and control applications

This flexible cable with numbered cores, identified as (H)05VV5-F 4G10 ((N)YSLYÖ-JZ), is designed to operate in demanding conditions, including environments exposed to oils. It is a versatile solution for both professional installers and end-users who need a reliable electrical connection. This cable is used in machines, conveyors, production lines, and in wet areas such as breweries or car washes.

Construction and properties

The cable consists of multi-wire copper cores (class 5), providing flexibility and resistance to bending. Core insulation is made of PVC TI2, and black cores are permanently marked with white numbers for easy identification. A yellow-green protective core (in versions with it) provides additional safety. The whole is surrounded by a special, oil-resistant PVC TM5, which guarantees long-term operation in difficult conditions. The cable has a rated voltage of 500V and is tested for a breakdown voltage of 2000V for 5 minutes. The insulation resistance is at least 20 MOm x km.

Operating parameters and compliance with standards

The cable retains its properties over a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +70°C during fixed installation and from -5°C to +70°C during flexible operation. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter during flexible operation and 4 x diameter during fixed installation. The materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting. Meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/ DIN EN 50525-2-51 and IEC 60227/75. It has a fire reaction class of Eca according to EN 13501-6. Additionally, it is radiation resistant up to 80 x 10^6 cJ/kg (80 Mrad). The cable is also oil resistant according to DIN/EN 60811-404.
