Universal flexible cable for applications requiring oil resistance

This flexible cable (H)05VV5-F 5G6, with a cross-section of 6 mm², is designed to operate in harsh conditions where oil resistance and flexibility are required. It is suitable for both industrial installations and mobile devices. The polyvinyl chloride (PVC) construction ensures durability and safe use.

Construction and properties

The cable consists of five multi-strand copper conductors (class 5), insulated with special PVC TI2. The conductors are twisted in parallel and numbered for easy identification. The protective conductor is yellow-green, ensuring proper grounding. The whole is surrounded by a durable outer sheath of PVC TM5, resistant to abrasion and chemical agents. The outer diameter of the cable is 15.9 mm, and its weight is 0.5167 kg/m.

This cable is characterized by high flexibility, which facilitates its installation and routing in tight spaces. It is designed to operate in a temperature range of -40°C to +70°C (stationary) and -5°C to +70°C (flexible). The rated voltage is 300/500V, and the test voltage is 2000V for 5 minutes. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter for flexible operation and 4 x diameter for fixed installation. It meets the requirements of IEC 60332-1-2 standard in terms of fire resistance (class Eca).
