This flexible cable from the (H)05VV5-F family, with a cross-section of 7G10, is designed to operate in demanding environments. It is characterized by high resistance to oils and greases, making it an ideal choice for industrial and commercial applications. This cable is particularly useful where flexibility and reliability of connections are required.

Construction and properties

This cable stands out with its solid construction. It has seven flexible, stranded copper conductors (class 5), which provide high flexibility and resistance to bending. The conductors are insulated with special PVC TI2, and the whole is covered with an outer coating of oil-resistant PVC TM5. The working conductors are numbered for easy identification, and the protective conductor is yellow-green (in versions with a protective conductor). The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 24.3 mm.

This cable meets the standards DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/ DIN EN 50525-2-51 and IEC 60227/75, which guarantees its safety and compliance with applicable standards. In addition, the materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting. It is also resistant to radiation up to 80 x 10⁶ cJ/kg (80 Mrad).

The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter for flexible operation and 4 x cable diameter for fixed laying. The reaction to fire class is Eca according to EN 13501-6.
