This grey, 12-core control cable H05VV5-F with a cross-section of 2.5 mm² is a universal solution for a wide range of electrical installations. Made of high-quality PVC, it provides not only durability but also safety. Cores marked with numbering according to DIN VDE 0293-334 facilitate identification and connection, which is particularly important during more complex installations.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a flexible construction with multi-strand class 5 cores, which ensures easy routing and installation even in tight spaces. The use of special PVC makes the cable resistant to oils and many chemicals – this is crucial in industrial environments such as breweries, bottling plants or car washes. In addition, the cable meets the Eca standard in terms of reaction to fire, which increases safety in the event of a fire. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 17.7 mm.

Application and benefits

The H05VV5-F cable is perfect as a control and connection cable in machines, conveyors and technological lines. Thanks to its moisture resistance, it can be used in dry, damp and wet rooms (but not outdoors). The operating temperature range from -40°C to +70°C (during operation) and from -5°C to +70°C during installation guarantees reliable operation even in difficult conditions. The rated voltage U0/U is 300/500V. The use of numbered black cores facilitates the identification of individual wires during installation and servicing. The cable is also resistant to radiation up to 80 x 10^6 cJ/kg (80 Mrad).
