Control cable – reliability and flexibility in every application

This grey H05VV5-F control cable with 18 cores of 1.5 mm² cross-section is an ideal solution for a wide range of applications where flexibility and resistance to external factors are required. Made of high-quality PVC, it provides safe and reliable connections in machines, conveyors and technological lines. Cores marked with numbers according to DIN VDE 0293-334 standard facilitate identification and connection.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction, based on multi-wire copper cores (class 5) insulated with special PVC TI2. The outer braid made of PVC TM5 provides resistance to abrasion, moisture and the action of many chemicals – including oils. Thanks to this, the cable works perfectly in difficult industrial conditions, such as breweries, bottling plants, laundries or car washes. It should be noted that the materials used in production are silicone-free, cadmium-free and do not interfere with painting.

Parameters and application

The cable is designed to operate in a temperature range from -40°C to +70°C (after installation) and from -5°C to +70°C during installation. It withstands a rated voltage of up to 500 V (300/500 V), making it safe to use. Fire reaction class Eca provides additional safety in case of fire. The cable complies with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/ DIN EN 50525-2-51 and IEC 60227/75 standards. Its outer diameter is approximately 17.4 mm. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter during flexible operation and 4 x cable diameter for fixed laying.
