Control cable PVC – reliability and flexibility in every application

This grey control cable H05VV5-F 7G1 mm² is an ideal solution for a wide range of applications where flexibility, oil resistance and reliable connections are required. Made of high-quality polyvinyl chloride (PVC), both in the wire insulation and the outer coating, it provides long-lasting protection against mechanical and chemical factors. Seven cores with a cross-section of 1 mm² with black insulation, numbered according to DIN VDE 0293-334, facilitate identification and improve installation safety.

Construction and properties

The cable is designed for demanding working conditions. Its construction based on copper stranded wires class 5 (flexible multi-wire) guarantees high flexibility, which facilitates laying even in tight spaces. A special oil-resistant PVC provides resistance to lubricants, oils and other chemicals, making it an excellent choice for industrial applications – especially in industries such as brewing, bottling plants, laundries or car washes. The cable complies with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/ DIN EN 50525-2-51 and IEC 60227/75 standards.

Application and technical parameters

The H05VV5-F cable is perfect as an element of flexible connections in machines, conveyors and technological lines. It can be used both in dry and humid and wet rooms (but not outdoors). The permissible operating temperature range is from -40°C to +70°C during fixed installation and from -5°C to +70°C during flexible operation. The rated voltage U0/U is 300/500V, and the outer diameter of the cable is approximately 10.2 mm. Fire reaction class Eca provides additional safety of use. The cable has a yellow-green protective conductor to increase the safety of the electrical installation.
