Construction and properties

The cable is made of multi-strand, flexible copper wire (class 5), which facilitates installation and ensures connection durability. Insulation made of EI6 rubber and an outer jacket made of PUR provide resistance to abrasion, cuts, oils, gasoline, water, weathering, UV radiation and bacterial action. The wires are twisted in parallel with an internal sheath for additional protection. Wire identification is done using color codes in accordance with DIN VDE 0293-308 – this facilitates correct connection and minimizes the risk of errors. The cable has an externally located yellow-green protective wire for increased safety.
