Construction and application

Single-core H07V-K cable with PVC insulation complies with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-31 / DIN EN 50525-2-31 and IEC 60227-3 standards. Its construction is based on a stranded copper core, providing good conductivity, surrounded by flexible polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulation. The class 5 core, i.e. flexible stranded wire, makes it easy to lay the cable even in difficult conditions. It is intended for wiring devices, switchboards and lighting at a working voltage of up to 1000 V AC or 750 V DC to earth.

Parameters and properties

This particular cable has a cross-section of 16 mm², making it suitable for transmitting higher currents. Its green-yellow insulation color indicates its intended use as a protective conductor (PE). The rated voltage U/Uo is 450/750 V, and the outer diameter is approximately 7.5 mm. Fire reaction class Eca provides a basic level of fire safety. The cable is resistant to the influence of atmospheric factors in the temperature range of -30°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -5°C to +70°C (flexible). The insulation resistance is at least 10 MOhm x km, which guarantees effective protection against short circuits and leakage currents.
