Halogen-free control and power cable – safety and reliability in one. This black, four-core HELUCONTROL® JZ-620-HMH cable with a cross-section of 4 mm² is a solution for installations requiring a high level of fire safety. Designed for public and industrial buildings, it provides reliable power and control in places with increased risk. Made of copper, with halogen-free insulation and coating, it minimizes the emission of toxic gases in the event of a fire, protecting both people and sensitive electronics.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction. Multi-strand copper conductors class 5 (according to DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228) provide flexibility and resistance to mechanical fatigue. The insulation of the cores made of halogen-free plastic, and the outer coating also halogen-free, guarantee safety in the event of a fire – the cable meets the standards IEC 60754-1 and IEC 60754-2 regarding the absence of halogen. The cores are twisted in layers, which optimizes the pitch and minimizes interference. Additionally, the cable has core markings with numbers, making identification easier during installation.

Thanks to the fire reaction class B2ca (according to EN 13501-6) and low smoke emission (s1a) and no formation of burning droplets (d0), this cable meets the stringent requirements for fire safety. In addition, its resistance to UV radiation ensures durability even in harsh weather conditions. The minimum bending radius for mobile installations is 187.5 mm and for fixed installations 62.5 mm, which facilitates assembly in tight spaces.
