This two-color HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y wire is a specialized solution for applications requiring exceptional resistance to extreme temperatures and aggressive chemical environments. Made with a copper core insulated with PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), this wire ensures reliable operation in harsh industrial conditions.

Construction and properties

The wire features a construction that provides high flexibility and durability. The copper core, available in silver-plated or nickel-plated versions upon request, guarantees optimal conductivity. The PTFE-HELUFLON® insulation meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0207 part 6 and MIL-W 16878, confirming its high quality and reliability. A wide operating temperature range – from -190°C to +260°C (short-term up to +300°C) – makes it an ideal choice for use in furnaces, brickworks, kitchen appliances, and the chemical industry. Additionally, the wire is resistant to flames, acids, alkalis, solvents, oils, and gasoline.
