Halogen-free cable for inverters – reliability and safety in power supply systems
This halogen-free cable, designated TOPFLEX®-06-EMV-UV-3-PLUS-2XSLCHK-J, is specifically designed to power motors with inverters (frequency converters). Its construction ensures electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), minimizing interference in systems, buildings and devices. This cable is an ideal solution for both professional installers and end-users who expect reliable and safe power supply.
Construction and properties
The cable stands out with its advanced construction, which guarantees high performance and durability:
- Copper conductors: Made of un-tinned multi-strand copper class 5 (according to IEC 60228), they provide good flexibility and conductivity.
- XLPE insulation: The use of cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) increases the current-carrying capacity and temperature resistance up to +90°C – a significant advantage over traditional PE insulation.
