Halogen-free cable for inverters TOPFLEX®-06-EMV-UV-3-PLUS-2XSLCHK-J 3x35+3G6 mm² black, color-coded conductors acc. to DIN VDE 0293-308 18052049
Product Features
- Reliability and safety of installation for inverter cables
This halogen-free cable, designated TOPFLEX®-06-EMV-UV-3-PLUS-2XSLCHK-J, is an advanced solution designed to power motors with inverters. It is designed to ensure electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) in systems, buildings and facilities sensitive to interference. Its construction and materials guarantee not only safe but also long-lasting operation in various conditions.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a solid construction using high-quality materials. Multi-wire copper conductors, class 5 (according to IEC 60228), provide flexibility and resistance to bending. XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) insulation increases the current carrying capacity and allows operation at temperatures up to +90°C – higher than with traditional PE insulation. Two screens – AL/PET foil and copper braid – effectively suppress electromagnetic interference, minimizing the risk of their impact on other devices. The outer jacket made of halogen-free plastic increases fire safety.
The cable has 6 cores with a cross-section of 3x35 mm² + 3G6 mm², making it ideal for applications requiring higher current capacity. Its black jacket makes identification easier, and the colored cores according to DIN VDE 0293-308 simplify assembly and connection. In addition, the cable is resistant to UV radiation and weather conditions, allowing it to be used both indoors and outdoors.
Applications and benefits
This cable finds wide application in the automotive, food, environmental technology industries and in machine tools. It is particularly recommended for installations powering motors with inverters, where electromagnetic compatibility is key. The possibility of direct burial in the ground (observing appropriate installation rules) increases its versatility.
- Safety: Halogen-free jacket minimizes the emission of toxic gases in the event of a fire.
- EMC compatibility: Double shielding provides effective protection against electromagnetic interference.
- Durability: XLPE insulation increases current carrying capacity and temperature resistance.
- Flexibility: Multi-wire cores facilitate assembly and cable routing.
- Resistance: Resistant to UV radiation and weather conditions allows use outdoors.
- Compliance with standards: Meets the requirements of IEC 60754-1 and IEC 60754-2 standards regarding the absence of halogen and reaction to fire class Dca according to EN 13501-6.
For optimal electromagnetic compatibility, it is recommended to have a two-sided, circumferential contact of the copper braid with the terminals (e.g. EMC cable glands). The minimum bending radius during installation is 248 mm for fixed installations and 496 mm for movable installations.
