This black, multi-core RZ1-K 3G2.5 mm² cable is a solution designed for safety and durability. Manufactured in accordance with IEC 60502-2 and UNE 21123-4 standards, it ensures reliable operation in various applications. A key feature is its low smoke zero halogen properties – in the event of a fire, it does not release toxic gases, which minimizes the risk of damage to electronic equipment and ensures greater safety for people in the vicinity. Construction and user properties

The RZ1-K cable is characterized by a flexible construction, which facilitates installation and routing in tight spaces. Un-tinned, stranded copper conductors class 5 (according to EN 60228/IEC 60228) provide good conductivity and mechanical strength. XLPE insulation guarantees high resistance to electrical damage. In addition, the LS0H (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) coating minimizes smoke and toxic gas emissions in the event of a fire. The cable is also resistant to UV radiation and weather conditions, allowing it to be used both indoors and outdoors.

Applications and compliance with standards

The RZ1-K 3G2.5 mm² cable is perfect for control and power installations with a voltage of 0.6/1kV. It can be used to connect various electrical devices, both in commercial and residential buildings. It meets the requirements of IEC 60332-1-2 standard regarding flame propagation resistance on a single cable and EN 50399 standard regarding flame propagation resistance on a cable harness. The fire reaction class is Cca - s1a, d1, a1 (for diameters ≤6 mm²), which confirms its high level of fire safety. The minimum bending radius for fixed laying is 5x the cable diameter. The cable is also water resistant (AD5).
