This RZ1-K 5G2.5 mm² 0.6/1kV Cca low smoke zero halogen control and power cable is the optimal solution wherever safety and protection against the effects of fire are a priority. Manufactured in accordance with IEC 60502-2/ UNE 21123-4 standards, this cable is designed to minimize the risk of generating toxic and corrosive gases in the event of a fire. This is crucial in places with increased safety requirements, such as hospitals, schools, museums, airports, stations or shopping centers.

Construction and application

The RZ1-K cable is characterized by a flexible construction with five cores of 2.5 mm² cross-section. Un-tinned, stranded copper conductors class 5 provide good flexibility and facilitate installation. Insulation made of XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) guarantees high electrical and mechanical resistance. The whole is surrounded by an LS0H (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) coating, which minimizes smoke and toxic gas emissions during combustion. The cable is resistant to UV radiation and weather conditions, allowing it to be used both indoors and outdoors. It can also be laid in the ground.
