This HELUFLON-FEP-6Y cable is an advanced solution for installations requiring high resistance to extreme conditions. Made with copper conductors in FEP fluoropolymer insulation, it provides reliable operation in a wide temperature range and aggressive environments. This cable is particularly recommended for industrial applications where standard cabling does not meet the requirements.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a construction that ensures flexibility and durability. Copper conductors, available in class 6 (flexible stranded), are insulated with FEP-HELUFLON® material, guaranteeing excellent dielectric properties and chemical resistance. The conductors are twisted in parallel, and the whole is surrounded by an outer jacket of the same material, providing complete protection against external factors. The jacket color is black (RAL 9005).

• Wide temperature range: The cable retains its properties at temperatures from -100°C to +205°C (short-term up to +230°C). This is crucial in applications exposed to high or low temperatures.
• Chemical resistance: FEP material is resistant to most chemicals, including acids, bases, oils and solvents.
• Low flammability: The cable is non-flammable and self-extinguishing, increasing installation safety.
• High insulation: Provides high insulation resistance (min. 2 GOhm/km) and minimal water permeability.
• Radiation resistance: Resistant to radiation up to 1 x 10⁶ cJ/kg (up to 1 Mrad).
• Available protective conductor: Versions with a yellow-green protective conductor are available (marked with "G").
