Flexible cable H05SS-F – resistance to extreme temperatures
This 5-core H05SS-F cable is a reliable solution for applications requiring high thermal resistance. Designed for both fixed installations and use in heat-generating devices, it provides safe and long-lasting power supply. Made of high-quality materials, it meets stringent safety standards.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a construction that ensures flexibility and durability. Multi-wire copper conductors (class 5), insulated with cross-linked rubber (SiR) EI2, guarantee good conductivity and resistance to mechanical damage. The outer jacket made of cross-linked rubber EM9 provides protection against external factors. The cores are identified by color, and the protective conductor is yellow-green (in cables with more than 3 cores). This cable is distinguished by its exceptional temperature resistance – from -60°C to +180°C during stationary operation, and briefly up to +250°C. This makes it ideal for use in high-temperature environments.
Application and benefits
The H05SS-F cable is widely used in industry, especially in the internal wiring of lighting fixtures and heating devices. Its resistance to high temperatures makes it an ideal choice for working in contact with hot surfaces. Thanks to its flexibility, it simplifies installation even in tight spaces. In addition, this cable is resistant to radiation up to 20x10⁶ cJ/kg (20 Mrad), which increases its durability in harsh operating conditions. The rated voltage U is 500V, and the conductor cross-section is 0.75 mm². The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 8.7 mm.
