High-temperature flexible cable – reliability in harsh conditions

This 5-core H05SS-F cable is a proposal for installers and users who need a reliable conductor in demanding environments. The cable is distinguished by its resistance to extreme temperatures, reaching up to +180°C, making it an ideal solution for industrial applications, lighting fixtures, and anywhere there is contact with hot surfaces. The construction with cross-linked rubber provides flexibility and durability, and the stranded copper conductors ensure good conductivity.

Construction and properties – the key to long-term operation

The cable is characterized by a solid construction. Copper conductors, made in class 5 (flexible multi-wire), are insulated with cross-linked rubber EI2. The outer jacket made of cross-linked rubber EM9 provides additional protection against external factors. Thanks to this, the cable retains its dielectric properties and insulation resistance even at high temperatures. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter for flexible laying and 4 x cable diameter for fixed laying, which facilitates installation even in tight spaces. Resistance to radiation up to 20x10⁶ cJ/kg (20 Mrad) expands the range of possible applications.

Applications and compliance with standards – safety and versatility

The cable is used in the internal wiring of lighting fixtures in industrial plants, as well as anywhere where resistance to high temperatures is required. It is ideal for operation in contact with hot surfaces and in stationary installations protected against mechanical damage. It meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-2-83 / DIN EN 50525-2-83 and the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking). The rated voltage U is 500V, and the conductor cross-section is 1 mm². The cable is available in black (RAL 9005), and other colors are available on request.
