Flexible cable H05SS-F – resistance to extreme temperatures

This 5-core H05SS-F cable with a cross-section of 2.5 mm² is a reliable solution for applications requiring high thermal resistance. Designed for both stationary installations and use in hot environments, it provides safe and long-lasting power supply. The cable is characterized by a flexible construction, which facilitates installation and routing in tight spaces.

Construction and properties

The cable is made of multi-wire copper conductors (class 5), which guarantees good flexibility and resistance to material fatigue. The core insulation is made of cross-linked rubber (SiR), providing excellent dielectric properties and temperature resistance. The outer jacket made of cross-linked rubber EM9 protects the cable from mechanical damage and external factors. Thanks to this, the cable retains its properties even in extreme temperature conditions – from -60°C to +180°C (short-term up to +250°C). The use of rubber as an insulating and outer jacket material ensures high cable flexibility, making it easier to install even in difficult conditions.

Applications and benefits

This cable is ideal for industrial applications where elevated temperatures occur, e.g. in the wiring of lighting fixtures, furnaces, electric motors or heating devices. It is also suitable for use inside heat-generating devices. Thanks to its radiation resistance (up to 20x10⁶ cJ/kg), it can also be used in environments exposed to ionizing radiation. The rated voltage of 500V allows for a wide range of applications in electrical installations. Additionally, the available protective conductor (yellow-green color) increases the safety of use.
