Flexible cable H05SST-F – high temperature resistance and reliability

This flexible H05SST-F cable is a proposal for installers and users who need a reliable conductor in difficult conditions. The cable is designed to operate at high temperatures while maintaining flexibility and safety. Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction. Made of stranded copper conductors, twisted according to DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228 standards. The core insulation is made of cross-linked rubber (SiR) EI2, which provides excellent dielectric properties and high temperature resistance. A polyester braid provides additional protection against mechanical damage. The outer jacket made of cross-linked rubber EM9 guarantees durability and resistance to external factors.

It is worth paying attention to a few key features:

• Thermal resistance: The cable withstands temperatures up to +180°C (short-term up to +250°C), making it an ideal solution for applications near heat sources.

Application and installation

The H05SST-F cable is primarily used for internal wiring of lighting fixtures in industrial plants and anywhere where there is contact with hot surfaces or elevated ambient temperature. Due to the lack of stress relief elements, it is recommended to use it in applications with low mechanical stress. During installation, special care should be taken in places exposed to sharp edges to avoid damage to the outer jacket. The minimum bending radius is 7.5x cable diameter for flexible bending and 4x cable diameter for fixed laying. A version with a yellow-green protective conductor (marking G) and without it (marking x) is available.
