ISOBUS Hybrid Cable – Reliability in Agriculture

This power and transmission hybrid cable, made of high-quality PUR, is specifically designed for use in agricultural machinery. It meets the requirements of ISO 11783-2 standard and has AEF (Agricultural Industry Electronics Foundation) certification, guaranteeing its compatibility with ISOBUS systems and reliable operation in harsh field conditions. The cable is metered, making it easy to adapt to specific installation needs.

Construction and properties

The cable is distinguished by its solid construction, ensuring long-term operation. Flexible, un-tinned copper cores are surrounded by PP insulation (transmission cores) and PVC (power cores). Transmission cores twisted in a star quad arrangement are additionally secured with a fleece winding. The whole is surrounded by a durable PUR coating, resistant to UV radiation, weather conditions, abrasion and oils. The material does not contain silicone or cadmium, ensuring safety and no impact on the machine painting process.

The cable's flexibility is maintained over a wide temperature range – from -20°C to +85°C (flexible operation) and from -40°C to +85°C (stationary operation). The operating voltage is 300/500 V, and the test voltage is 2000 V. The minimum bending radius is 12 x cable diameter for flexible operation and 6 x diameter for fixed installation.
