This cable combines thermoelectric and control functions, making it an ideal solution for applications requiring both temperature reading and device power supply. The cable's construction is designed to ensure high reliability and durability in demanding industrial conditions.

Construction and properties

The cable consists of two key parts: thermoelectric and control. The thermoelectric part uses a type J class 1 thermoelectric wire, compliant with IEC 584, ensuring precise temperature measurement. Insulation made of heat-resistant PVC TI3 (PN-EN 50363-3) guarantees resistance to high temperatures – up to +105°C for the thermoelectric part and +70°C for the control part. A screen in the form of a braid of tinned copper wires minimizes electromagnetic interference, which is particularly important in industrial environments. The control part is based on multi-strand copper wires, insulated with PVC TI1 (PN-EN 50363-3), ensuring flexibility and ease of installation. Filling inserts between the wires stabilize the cable structure and prevent mechanical damage. The outer jacket made of PVC TM2 (PN-EN 50363-4-1) protects the cable from external factors such as moisture, oils and gasoline. The materials used in production are silicone and cadmium free, ensuring safety and compatibility with painting processes.

Applications in industry

This cable finds wide application in measurement and control systems where simultaneous transmission of temperature measurement signals and device power supply is required. It works particularly well in hot runner systems for injection molds – the control part powers electric heaters, and the thermoelectric part monitors the channel temperature. Thanks to its construction and properties, this cable is ideal for use in the processing industry, industrial automation and anywhere reliable signal transmission and power supply are required in difficult environmental conditions. The cable's operating voltage is 300/500V, and the test voltage is 2500V, confirming its safety. The outer diameter of the cable is 19 mm and its weight is 0.5386 kg/m.
