Control and power cable JZ-500 is a flexible solution for medium mechanical loads, ideal for connections in slowly moving systems. The cable construction, compliant with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51 standards, ensures reliability and safety in dry, wet and humid environments (although not suitable for outdoor use).

This cable is used in control and measuring devices in industrial equipment. The special PVC mixture used for the outer jacket and core insulation guarantees not only flexibility for easy installation, but also resistance to external factors. Cores numbered according to DIN VDE 0293-334 facilitate identification and connection.

Characteristics and application

JZ-500 4G25 mm² cable is characterized by a core cross-section of 25 mm², which allows for transmission of higher currents. Four cores, made of multi-wire copper (class 5), provide good flexibility and resistance to bending. The rated voltage U/U0 is 500/300 V, and the permissible operating temperature ranges from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -15°C to +80°C (flexible). The fire reaction class is Eca, which means limited flammability.

This cable is particularly recommended where flexibility and resistance to environmental conditions are required – e.g. in machines and industrial equipment, control systems or lighting installations. Thanks to its construction and properties, it performs perfectly in applications requiring frequent bending and movement.

Construction and properties

The cable construction is based on twisted multi-wire copper cores, insulated with PVC and a parallel twisted braid, all covered with an outer jacket made of special PVC TM2. Digital core markings facilitate correct cable connection. The flexibility of the cable is ensured by a specially selected PVC mixture, which facilitates installation even in tight spaces. The cable is resistant to oils and chemicals (detailed information can be found in the "Technical Information" table). It ensures safety by meeting the requirements of IEC 60332-1-2 standard regarding flammability tests. The outer diameter is approximately 25.2 mm – important information when planning cable routes. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter for flexible applications and 4 x cable diameter for stationary installations – important during installation to avoid damage to the cores.
