This grey, seven-core PVC JZ-500 cable with a cross-section of 16 mm² is a solid solution for both professional installers and end users. It is designed for medium mechanical loads and provides flexibility in installations where tensile stresses do not occur. It is ideal for use in dry, wet and humid rooms (but not outdoors), as well as a cable for control and measuring equipment in industrial devices.
Construction and properties
The cable is made of high-quality materials, which guarantees its durability and reliability. The copper, stranded (class 5) conductors are twisted in parallel, and their identification is done using white digits printed on a black background – in accordance with DIN VDE 0293. The core insulation is made of PVC, and the entire cable is surrounded by an outer jacket made of special PVC TM2, providing resistance to oils and chemicals. This makes the cable resistant to mechanical and chemical damage, which translates into a long service life.
Application and technical parameters
The JZ-500 cable is characterized by a rated voltage of 500 V and a test voltage of 4000 V. The permissible operating temperature is from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -15°C to +80°C during installation. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter for flexible operation and 4 x diameter for stationary operation. The fire reaction class is Eca (EN 13501-6), which provides additional safety. The cable complies with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51 and has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2006/95/EC.
