This shielded JZ-600-Y-CY control and power cable is a versatile solution for a wide range of applications, from industry to internal installations. This cable is particularly valued in Southern and Eastern European countries, as well as Arab countries, where its resistance to weather conditions and UV radiation is particularly important.

Construction and properties

The JZ-600-Y-CY cable stands out with its careful construction, which guarantees long-lasting and trouble-free operation. It has 18 cores with a cross-section of 2.5 mm², made of twisted copper, which ensures flexibility and resistance to material fatigue. Each core is insulated with special PVC TI2, and the working cores are numbered with white digits on a black background – this facilitates identification and minimizes the risk of errors during installation. The protective core is placed close to the outer jacket for added safety. The whole is surrounded by a screen of tinned copper wires, which minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMC) and ensures stable signal transmission. The outer jacket is made of durable PVC TM2, resistant to UV radiation, oils and other chemicals.

The cable meets the standards DIN VDE 0262/ DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/ DIN EN 50525-2-51 and is classified as Eca in terms of reaction to fire (EN 13501-6). The permissible operating temperature range is from -40°C to +80°C during fixed installation and from -15°C to +80°C during flexible operation. The rated voltage U/U0 is 1000/600 V.

For optimal protection against interference, it is recommended to ensure two-sided contact of the copper braid with cable gland clamps.
