This shielded JZ-600-Y-CY control and power cable is a solid solution for installations requiring flexibility and resistance to interference. The cable is designed for medium mechanical load, making it an ideal choice for connections in machines, industrial installations and control systems. The use of a copper braid screen minimizes the risk of electromagnetic interference, ensuring stable signal transmission.

The cable complies with DIN VDE 0262, DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 and DIN EN 50525-2-51 standards, which guarantees its safety and high quality of workmanship. Made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) both in the core insulation and in the outer coating, it provides durability and resistance to weather conditions. Cores numbered according to DIN VDE 0293-334 facilitate identification and minimize the risk of errors during installation. The protective core placed close to the outer jacket further increases safety.

Construction features and application

The JZ-600-Y-CY 7G2,5 mm² cable is characterized by a construction adapted to a wide range of applications. Seven cores with a cross-section of 2.5 mm² made of stranded copper (class 5) provide adequate flexibility and mechanical strength. The cable is intended for laying in dry, damp and wet rooms, as well as outdoors – provided it is permanently laid. However, it should not be laid directly in the ground or in water.

Thanks to its resistance to UV radiation and oils and chemicals, the cable performs perfectly in demanding industrial conditions – metallurgy, steelworks, mechanical engineering or air conditioning installations. It is particularly popular in Southern and Eastern European countries as well as Arab countries due to its reliability and versatility. The use of a screen allows for trouble-free transmission of signals in environments exposed to electromagnetic interference – which is crucial for the correct operation of control and measurement systems. For optimal electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), it is recommended to have a two-sided contact of the copper braid with cable gland clamps.
