This LAN cable from HELUKAT® is a solid solution for building computer networks, both in professional and home applications. The F/UTP construction with shielding foil provides good protection against electromagnetic interference, which translates to stable data transmission. The cable is designed to operate in temperatures from -30°C to +70°C, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use (with appropriate protection).

Construction and Properties

The cable is characterized by a 4x2xAWG 24/1 PE construction, which means four twisted pairs of wires with a cross-section of 0.2 mm², insulated with polyethylene (PE) and surrounded by a jacket also made of PE. Copper conductors with a diameter of 0.55 mm provide good conductivity. Twisting the pairs minimizes interference between them, and the shielding foil further reduces the impact of external disturbances. Color-coded wire identification with rings makes it easier to identify during installation and maintenance. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 8 mm, allowing for convenient routing in tight spaces.

Application and Standards Compliance

The HELUKAT® 200A cable is ideal for creating Gigabit Ethernet, Fast Ethernet networks and other data transmission standards such as FDDI ATM155 or ISDN. It will work well in offices, homes, data centers and server rooms. Compliance with ISO/IEC 11801, EN 50173 and EIA/TIA 568-A standards guarantees high quality and reliability. Additionally, the cable meets the requirements of halogen-free materials according to IEC 60754-2, which increases safety in the event of a fire.
