Construction and properties
The cable features a carefully crafted construction using high-quality materials. Twisted pair copper conductors, shielded with aluminum foil and an additional copper braid, minimize the impact of external interference. The foam PE insulation of the conductors provides good dielectric properties, and the outer FRNC (Flame Retardant Non-Corrosive) coating ensures safe use by limiting the spread of fire and the emission of toxic gases during combustion. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 7.5 mm, making it easy to route even in tight spaces.
The cable has 8 conductors arranged in 4 twisted pairs, allowing it to handle Gigabit Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, Ethernet, FDDI ATM 155, token ring 4/16 Mbit/s or ISDN without problems. The nominal conductor cross-section is 0.25 mm², and the diameter of a single conductor is 0.57 mm. The cable color scheme (white/blue, white/orange, white/green, white/brown) simplifies identification during installation. The permissible operating temperature range is between -20°C and +60°C both during operation and installation (0-50°C).
