This high-quality HELUKAT 1200 LAN cable, with S/FTP construction, is designed for demanding network applications. The cable is particularly recommended for routing in confined spaces, such as cable ducts and conduits.

Construction and parameters

The cable is characterized by a solid construction with eight copper conductors twisted in pairs. Each pair is shielded with aluminum foil (Al), and the entire cable is additionally protected with a copper braid. The wire insulation is made of PE foam, which ensures good flexibility and dielectric properties. The outer jacket made of FRNC (halogen-free polymer compound) increases safety by minimizing the emission of toxic gases in the event of a fire. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 7.7 mm, and the cross-section of a single conductor is 0.32 mm².

The HELUKAT 1200 cable is intended for use in LAN (Local Area Networks) supporting Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet and 10 Gigabit Ethernet standards. It meets the requirements of ISO/IEC 11801, EN 50173 and EIA/TIA 568-A standards and is prepared to support category 8 (in project phase). It also has certificates confirming its flame retardancy (IEC 60332-3), low smoke density (IEC 61034), halogen-free (IEC 60754-2) and corrosion resistance (EN 50267-2-3). Thanks to this, it finds application in a wide range of installations – from offices and homes to data centers and industrial buildings.
