Robust control cable for special applications

This flexible PUR cable is designed for operation in demanding conditions, such as moving parts of machines, robotics and industry. It provides reliable signal transmission in environments exposed to electromagnetic interference and intense bending. The cable construction is based on many years of experience of HELUKABEL POLSKA SP Z O.O. in the production of specialized cables.

Construction and properties

The MULTIFLEX 512®-C-PUR cable is characterized by a construction that ensures high flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage. Copper strands, twisted in a way that minimizes the risk of loosening connections, are insulated with modified PP, which provides good electrical insulation and abrasion resistance. Black wires with digital numbering facilitate the identification of individual wires during installation and servicing – in accordance with DIN VDE 0293-334. The whole is surrounded by a special protective braid and a polyurethane (PUR) outer coating, which is resistant to oils, chemicals and UV radiation. In addition, the cable has a screen made of tinned copper wires, which minimizes the influence of electromagnetic interference on the transmitted signals.

The MULTIFLEX 512®-C-PUR cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-2-21 / DIN EN 50525-2-21 and has a rated voltage of 300/500 V. The permissible operating temperature is from -40°C to +80°C (flexible) and from -30°C to +80°C during installation, making it a universal solution for a wide range of applications. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 9.3 mm with a conductor cross-section of 0.75 mm².
