PUR cable for cable conduits MULTIFLEX 512®-C-PUR 4G0.5 mm² grey, black cores numbered acc. to DIN VDE 0293-334 acc. to DIN VDE 0293-334 22573
Robust control cable for extreme applications
This grey PUR cable from the MULTIFLEX 512®-C-PUR series, equipped with four 0.5 mm² cores, is designed for operation in demanding industrial conditions. It is characterized by high flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage, making it an ideal solution for moving parts of machines, robotics and chain applications. The cable meets the DIN VDE 0285-525-2-21 / DIN EN 50525-2-21 standard, guaranteeing safety and reliability.
Construction and properties
The cable stands out with its advanced construction ensuring long-lasting and trouble-free operation. Copper, stranded (class 6) cores are insulated with modified PP, providing them with flexibility and abrasion resistance. Black cores are numbered according to DIN VDE 0293-334, making identification and connection easier. A shielding braid protects against electromagnetic interference (EMC), and a special outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) provides resistance to oils, chemicals and UV radiation. In addition, the materials used in production are halogen-free, increasing safety in the event of a fire.
Applications and benefits
The MULTIFLEX 512®-C-PUR cable is an excellent choice for installers and end-users looking for a reliable solution in difficult conditions. Its flexibility allows for easy routing in tight spaces and multiple bending without risk of damage. Resistance to external factors ensures long-term operation even in an aggressive industrial environment. Thanks to the shielding, the cable minimizes the risk of interference in data transmission, which is particularly important in automation and robotics applications.
- Wide operating temperature range: from -40°C to +80°C during operation and from -30°C to +80°C during installation – guarantees operation in various environmental conditions.
- High mechanical resistance: thanks to the use of durable materials and a special construction, the cable is resistant to abrasion, tearing and impact.
- Shielding: Shielding braid minimizes electromagnetic interference, ensuring stable signal transmission.
- Halogen-free: Increases fire safety – does not release toxic gases during combustion.
- Flexibility: Allows easy cable routing even in tight spaces and with frequent bends.
- Chemical resistance: Resistant to oils, solvents, acids and bases.
- Rated voltage: The cable is designed to operate at 300/500 V.
