Flexible cable 500V m.FLEX 512-PUR 4G1 grey, halogen-free PUR chain cable 22525
Flexible cable for applications requiring high flexibility
This grey flexible cable m.FLEX 512-PUR 4G1, with a cross-section of 1 mm², is designed to operate in harsh conditions where high resistance to bending and mechanical stress is required. Made of high-quality materials, it ensures reliable operation in mechanical engineering, robotics and moving parts of machines. Its construction based on twisted copper strands, PP insulation and a polyurethane outer jacket guarantees long life and safe use.
Construction and properties
The cable has a 4G1 structure – four core wires plus a protective wire (yellow-green). The copper strands are multi-wire, very flexible (class 6), which gives them exceptional flexibility. The core insulation is made of modified PP, and the outer jacket is made of halogen-free polyurethane (PUR). This combination of materials translates into a number of benefits:
- Exceptional flexibility: Allows for repeated bending without damage, ideal for use in energy chains.
- Mechanical resistance: The polyurethane coating protects the cable from abrasion, tearing and other mechanical damage.
- Halogen-free: Ensures safety in the event of a fire – limits the emission of toxic gases.
- Chemical resistance: The cable is resistant to oils, solvents, acids, alkalis and hydraulic fluids.
- UV resistance: Ensures durability even when exposed to sunlight.
- Low adhesion: Facilitates cable movement and minimizes the risk of sticking to other elements.
Parameters and application
The m.FLEX 512-PUR 4G1 cable is designed to operate in a temperature range from -40°C to +80°C (flexible) and -30°C to +80°C (stationary). The rated voltage is 500 V, and the test voltage is 3000 V. The minimum bending radius is 5x the cable diameter during flexible operation and 3x the cable diameter for fixed installation. The cable complies with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-21 / DIN EN 50525-2-21 standards and has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU.
This cable is widely used in:
- Mechanical engineering
- Robotics
- Moving parts of machines
- Industrial automation
- Installations in energy chains
- Applications requiring high flexibility and mechanical resistance
