Flexible cable for dynamic applications – reliability and durability
This metered m.FLEX 512-PUR 5G0,5 flexible cable is the ideal solution wherever high flexibility and resistance to external factors are required. The cable is designed for use in machine engineering, robotics and moving parts of machines, where intense bending occurs. The cable construction ensures reliable operation even in harsh conditions.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a construction that provides exceptional mechanical strength and chemical resistance. It uses multi-strand, very flexible (class 6) copper conductors, insulated with modified PP. Parallel twisted strands with an additional protective braid (up to 4 mm² cross-section) increase resistance to damage. The outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) provides high resistance to abrasion, tearing, oils and UV radiation. Importantly, the cable is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire.

Applications and compliance with standards
The m.FLEX 512-PUR cable is intended for use in power and control installations in machines and equipment exposed to movement and bending. It will be perfect in robotics, conveyors, CNC portals and other industrial applications. It meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-2-21 / DIN EN 50525-2-21 and has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU. The cable has a rated voltage of U/U0 300/500 V and is tested at 3000 V. The insulation resistance is min. 100 MOhm x km. The minimum bending radius is 5 x cable diameter (flexible) or 3 x cable diameter (for fixed installation).
