Control and power cable for cable reels – reliability and flexibility in every application
This black, four-core NSHTÖU cable with a cross-section of 50 mm² is the ideal solution for applications requiring high mechanical strength and resistance to harsh working conditions. Designed for drum applications, it works perfectly in systems requiring frequent cable winding and unwinding, ensuring continuous power and control. This cable is used in construction, mining, cranes, conveyors and hoists.
Construction and properties for demanding applications
The NSHTÖU cable stands out with its solid construction ensuring long-lasting and safe operation. The cores are made of stranded wire, which guarantees flexibility and resistance to material fatigue. GI1 rubber insulation provides high protection against mechanical damage and external factors. The outer jacket made of polychloroprene (neoprene) is characterized by exceptional resistance to low temperatures, ozone, UV radiation, oils, acids, fats and many other chemicals. Additionally, the cable has core identification according to DIN VDE 0293-308, which facilitates installation and servicing.
Safety and compliance with standards
The cable has been designed and manufactured in accordance with DIN VDE 0250 part 814 and has a fire reaction class of Eca (EN 13501-6). It has passed fire resistance tests (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2, IEC 60332-1) and oil resistance tests (DIN VDE 0473-811-404, DIN EN 60811-404). The rated voltage U/U0 is 1000/600 V and the maximum operating temperature of the cores is +70°C (flexible) or +60°C (during operation). Thanks to this, you can be sure that the installation is safe and meets all required standards.
