Construction and properties

The OZ-500 cable is characterized by a solid construction, based on 20 copper strands with a cross-section of 1 mm². These strands are made of stranded copper wire (class 5), which provides them with high flexibility and resistance to mechanical fatigue. Each strand is insulated with special PVC (Z 7225), and the whole is surrounded by a grey outer PVC coating (TM2). The strands are black with white numbers, which facilitates identification and improves installation safety – in accordance with DIN VDE 0293.

This cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51, which guarantees its compliance with European safety standards. Additionally, it has a fire reaction class of Eca, which means limited flammability and smoke emission in the event of a fire. The permissible operating temperature range is -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and -15°C to +80°C (flexible), allowing it to be used in a wide range of environmental conditions.
