Construction and application

The cable is designed for flexible applications where medium mechanical stress occurs, but without stretching and the need for routing in conduits. It is ideal for areas at risk of explosion marked as intrinsically safe (type -i-). It is a control or measuring cable used in measuring and control systems that are not grounded and have a separate power supply circuit. Important: it is not intended for laying in the ground.

Parameters and properties

The cable is characterized by a rated voltage of 300/500V and a core cross-section of 1 mm². Made of multi-wire, flexible core class 5 (according to DIN VDE 0295 / IEC 60228) ensures easy installation and adaptation to various applications. Core insulation is made of PVC type Z 7225. Thanks to the outer PVC coating (type TM2), the cable is resistant to UV radiation and weather conditions, which increases its durability and reliability. The reaction to fire class is Eca (EN 13501-6), which provides an additional level of safety.
