This blue OZ-BL-CY 25x1 cable with a cross-section of 1 mm² is designed for demanding applications, particularly in areas at risk of explosion. It provides flexibility and reliability of connections in control and measuring installations, where maintaining safety and minimizing interference is crucial. The cable is designed to operate in a wide temperature range, both during stationary and dynamic operation.

Construction and application

The cable consists of 25 flexible, stranded copper conductors of class 5, which ensures high flexibility and resistance to material fatigue. The conductors are insulated with PVC type Z 7225, and their color scheme complies with DIN VDE 0293-334 (black conductors with white numbers). Twisted layers of conductors minimize the risk of interference. In addition, the cable has a screen in the form of a braid of tinned copper wires, which effectively protects against electromagnetic interference. The whole is surrounded by a PVC coating (type TM2) in blue color (RAL 5015), providing resistance to weather conditions and UV radiation.

This cable is used in intrinsically safe installations according to DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51 and in areas at risk of explosion according to DIN VDE 0165-1 / DIN EN 60079-14 / IEC 60079-14 (Section 16.2.2). It is ideal for use as a control and measuring cable in control and measurement technology, especially where high resistance to interference and safety in EX zones are required. Please note that the cable is not intended for laying in the ground.
