Control cable shielded for data and control signal transmission
This flexible, shielded PVC cable is designed for a wide range of applications in measurement, control, signaling, regulation technology and electronics. It is suitable for both industrial installations and data transmission systems for pulses. The cable construction provides effective protection against electromagnetic interference, which is particularly important in environments with high levels of interference.
Construction and properties
The PAAR-CY-OZ cable is characterized by a construction based on 24 copper conductors (12 pairs), twisted to minimize noise and interference. Each conductor has a cross-section of 1 mm² and is made of stranded copper, ensuring flexibility and ease of installation. The conductors are insulated with special PVC (TI2) and marked with white numbers on black insulation, in accordance with DIN VDE 0293, which facilitates the identification of individual wires. Twisted pairs of conductors are wrapped in foil and then surrounded by a copper braid screen providing high shielding effectiveness. The whole is protected by an outer PVC (TM2) coating in gray (RAL 7032).
The cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0812 and 0814 standards and has a fire reaction class of Eca according to EN 13501-6. It is resistant to oils and chemicals, and its materials do not contain silicone or cadmium, guaranteeing safe use. The permissible operating temperature range is -30°C to +80°C during operation and -5°C to +80°C during installation. The rated voltage is 300/500V.
