Shielded control cable for data and signal transmission

This flexible PVC cable, designed for transmitting data and control signals, finds application in a wide range of installations – from measurement and control systems to electronics and pulse transmission. The construction with a copper braided shield provides resistance to electromagnetic interference, which is crucial in environments with high levels of interference. The cable complies with DIN VDE 0812 and 0814 standards, guaranteeing reliability and safety of use.

Construction and user parameters

The PAAR-CY-OZ cable is characterized by a construction based on 50 copper strands, twisted in pairs to minimize interference. Each strand has a cross-section of 1.5 mm² and is made of a flexible class 5 stranded wire, which ensures flexibility and ease of installation. The strand insulation is made of high-quality PVC (TI2), and the entire cable is surrounded by a gray outer jacket made of PVC (TM2) resistant to oils and chemicals. The strands are numbered with digits according to DIN VDE 0293, which facilitates identification during installation.

It is worth noting the wide range of operating temperatures – from -30°C to +80°C during operation and from -5°C to +80°C during installation. The rated voltage is 300/500V, and the strand-to-strand test voltage is 1200V. The cable has a common screen in the form of a braid, which effectively reduces the influence of external interference. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 29.5 mm.
