Shielded control cable PA.TR.-LI-2YCY – reliable signal transmission in harsh conditions
This flexible control cable, designated PA.TR.-LI-2YCY, is an ideal solution for transmitting signals in environments exposed to electromagnetic interference. Designed for reliability and durability, it performs well in both stationary and mobile installations where flexibility and resistance to mechanical stress are required. Its construction provides effective interference suppression, which is crucial in automation, control and data transmission systems.
Construction and parameters ensuring high quality
This cable is characterized by a careful construction using high-quality materials. Twisted pair copper conductors minimize the impact of electromagnetic interference on the transmitted signal. Shielding with foil and copper braiding further increases resistance to interference. Insulation made of polyethylene (PE) provides long-term protection of the conductors against mechanical damage and environmental factors. The outer jacket made of PVC guarantees resistance to abrasion and weather conditions.
The cable has 20 conductors with a cross-section of 0.5 mm², allowing for the transmission of various control signals. Its outer diameter is approximately 14.8 mm. The cable is designed to operate at temperatures from -30°C to +80°C (after installation) and from -5°C to +70°C during installation. This allows it to be used in a wide range of industrial and commercial applications.

The PA.TR.-LI-2YCY cable is used primarily as a signal cable in areas exposed to strong electromagnetic interference – e.g. in production halls, data centers or industrial monitoring systems. It is particularly recommended for RS 422 and RS 485 interfaces due to its high data transmission speed.
- For installers: the cable is easy to install thanks to its flexible construction and the possibility of using Termi-Point® technology (quick connection without soldering). The use of Sub-D connectors is also possible for cables with a cross-section of 0.22 mm².
