This grey EDV-PIMF-CY 4x2x0.5 cable is an advanced solution for transmitting signals in various applications, from industry to medicine. Construction and properties

The cable stands out with its advanced construction, which guarantees high signal quality and resistance to interference. Copper conductors, compliant with DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228 standards, are insulated with special polyethylene (PE) and colored according to DIN 47100 for easy identification. Each pair of conductors is shielded with a metallized foil with a drain wire (PIMF), which effectively reduces the impact of electromagnetic interference. An additional, common foil wrap and braided copper screen provide comprehensive protection against interference. The whole is surrounded by a durable PVC TM2 coating, resistant to mechanical damage and atmospheric factors.

The cable is characterized by flexibility in the temperature range from -5°C to +80°C during dynamic operation and from -20°C to +80°C in stationary mode. The maximum operating voltage is 300V, making it suitable for use in control and data transmission systems. The insulation resistance is minimum 5 GOhm x km, and the working capacitance core/core is 75 pF/m – parameters demonstrating high quality workmanship.
